I’ve been a member of my Arizona MPI chapter (Meeting Professionals International) for a few years. And by “member,” I mean I paid my dues and then was perpetually too busy to actually participate. 😉
When I renewed recently, I made myself a promise: This time, get involved.
So I registered for the chapter’s annual EDUCON meeting. While poking around the event website, I noticed what looked like an opportunity to offer a morning wellness activity.
I raised my hand.
And guess who’s leading Morning Meds & Movement at EDUCON next week?

Often, getting more from our professional association really is that simple. Show up. Raise your hand. Volunteer. Serve.
